Artist Linda Gail Sanders and Curator Heather Moqtaderi will speak about Linda Sanders’ site-specific “Deep Rivers” mural at the Ebenezer Maxwell Mansion. The mural was commissioned as part of the Mansion’s “Deep Rivers” tour, which highlights 19th Century African Americans who achieved greatness in arts, culture, science, and business. Moqtaderi was invited to develop an artistic complement to the tour and has worked with Linda Sanders over the past year on this mural project.

Join us next Saturday to view Sanders’ “Deep Rivers” mural and listen to Linda Gail Sanders and Heather Moqtaderi talk about the inspiration, the process, and finally, the art.
