Visit the Mansion which is located in the Germantown section of Philadelphia at the corner of Tulpehocken and Greene Streets.

The Mansion can be reached by Southeast Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) Bus Routes H, XH, 23, 53 and 65. SEPTA also offers regional railway services from Philadelphia on the R8 Chestnut Hill line to Tulpehocken Station.

A Day Away at the Ebenezer Maxwell Mansion in the Germantown section of Philadelphia bears a striking resemblance to the mansion from “The Addams Family” TV series, and capitalizes on its distinctive Victorian appearance.

Hours of Operation

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – Closed

Thursday, Friday, Saturday – Tours offered at 12:15, 1:15, 2:15, 3:15

The Mansion will be closed beginning Saturday, December 10, 2016 through Saturday, January 28, 2017. We will re-open for tours on Thursday, February 2, 2017.

Ebenezer Maxwell Mansion does not have an inside waiting room so arrive just a few minutes before the start time of one of the tours. Reservations – not taken.

Ticket Cost: Adults (18+) – $7

Students and Children – $5 (age 18 & under)

The Mansion is not wheel chair accessible.

In case of inclement weather call 215-438-1861 before visiting for a tour. If Philadelphia public schools are closed due to bad weather, the Mansion will also be closed.
